Toyota is a big enterprise that does not need to buckel to anybody.
I wonder what Apple used to change Toyota's mind.
Maybe other companies like Mc Donalds or Coca Cola should be approached for iPhone themes.
That will keep Apple busy.

haha...I knew it was too good to be true! How long did we all think Apple would wait, before pulling the plug?? haha! Apple is a business that is in business to make $$. We all know they don't support the jailbreak community...to them we are a virus that needs to go away :] There will come a day when a conglomerate will latch on to the jailbreak media hype and ride the wave...just wondering which company will be brave enough to bare the rough tide...we shall see.

Don't know why Toyota caved so quickly, would have been nice to see someone stand up for themselves against CrApple for once.

04-05-2011, 06:04 AM #50Toyota had agreed to do so to "maintain their good relationship with Apple," our Velti contact told me on the phone.
I'd tell them, we leave it and have other car manufacturers and companies follow......
Get off your high horse and micro managing attitude apple!

If Apple REALLY wanted to cut down on jailbreaking, they'd give us a way to theme from within iOS, and be less uptight about how the hardware is used. The best way to prevent something is to eliminate the need for it.

If Geohot can stand up to Sony, Toyota should have stood up to Apple!

Well... I'm not against jailbreak or customize, but it's foolish to think that Apple would just sit and watch an advertising company use it's beloved iPhones to make (almost)free propaganda while struggling to make it's multi-million dollar advertising platform to take off.

What a load of bullshite! Apple tries to control Cydia by taking down a theme! BULLSHITE! Toyota is obviously Apple's b1tch.

I really don't understand the Apple stance...... the sole reason most of us JB is to customise our iDevice and make it do the things we need, Apple seem all about revenue, if they accept the theming and add it to the app store then why do I need to have a jailbroken phone??
I would love to see Winterboard and Dreamboard and such like available on the app store...... money for apple easier for us, even though it's a little less fun!!!!
In reference to the original article let's hope other companies see this and realise there a huge Market that can be reasonably cheap to advertise on........ bring some legitimacy to Jailbreakig and to Cydia.....
Grow up Apple and get with the program!!!

I bet we see this theme re posted on the net just to keep the middle finger up at apple just a little longer. Hell I'll do it.

Pathetic. I'm still insulted that the president called this guy a living example of the free market.
He embodies all it's worst principles.
