I want voice commands to be accessible with my voice... why would I want to triple click the home button then tell it when I could have done what I wanted within half that time. If Apple wants to blow people away I think making it so you say a certain phrase or code activates your voice command then you tell it what to do. This would be great in my car instead of having to keep on switching songs on my iPhone I can just say next or something to that effect. Just my 2 cents...

Click2Call is probably one of my favorite purchases.

When I do my voice dialing it's with my bluetooth. It's pretty easy to just push the button on the blue tooth head set and say, "Call Steve Jobs, mobile," than it is to pick up the phone, unlock it, and find his icon.

I dont know about you... but I feel like an idiot any time I use the Voice Control on my phone. It's too Star Trek like... "Call ______." "Play songs by _______."

People think you're talking to them when you say voice commands on daily basis. When they realize you're talking to your PHONE... (which is even MORE awkward than talking to your friend) they give you such awkward looks!

Not only that but I tend to talk to voice control in a robotic voice because I feel for some reason the clarity of my commands are better heard by my phone that way... I couldn't imagine using Voice Control as an essential part of navigating through my iPhone.

Most people hardly use the voice activation feature, but it is nice to have it just incase you need it. If you think about it, if the iPhone, and iPod touch is going to basically use voice activation for everything, then why even put a touch screen on it? It works perfectly fine for me, and the only think I think they can do is allow it to sync your voice, just incase your in a noisy area.

this would be a welcomed upgrade. Being able to say "Text (someone) Hey what times the party again?" would be awesome. (just used that as a example.)

Though I don't use it either, here is a work around:
    1. Install activator
    2. Set an action to "activate voice command." If you want a quick and mostly universal one I recommend swipe down on status bar
    3. Profit

Good point. As I said, I only wish for them to have a voice sync in noisy areas. That we help it the most.

Damn it man!!!! Don't give Steve another catch phrase/slogan for the iPhone. He never stops using them. I bet Steve could talk about anything and keep your attention "I had to take a shower today, sshowering is something we do everyday. Today I would like to talk about that. I would like to talk about something that we all have to do, something we do so much we don't think about it. Why would I want to talk about something like that? We had this vision, a revolutionary vision. The ability to never have to get undressed. The ability to save valuable time. We call it the isuit. The isuit is and advanced blend of several breathable stretchable materials and nano machines. The nano machines we have named icleans. icleans seek out dirt, Bacteria and Oder automatically thanks to the power of iOS 5. The isuit integrates seamlessly in to your network of apple products. There is 3 things I would like to talk about. How it works. How it performs, and how it looks.
How it works. It uses icleans to search out dirt Oder and bacteria. Each isuit contains thousands of icleans. An iclean is a nano machine that contains waterless anti bacterial soap and a deoderiser. They are constantly moving over the service of your skin and removing the filth that our body's accumulate all the time. Our test show that it keeps you 17 times cleaner than a shower!!!! 17 times cleaner, thats just amazing. After using the isuit for an extended amount of time you will notice your skin is softer and healthier. What does isuit look like? I just so happen to have one on right now. isuit looks and feels like normal clothing. isuit will be available at the Apple store next week. The initial style will be black turttle neck and blue jeans, with white turtle neck and blue jeans coming in the weeks after. Oh. One more thing thanks to iOS 5 you can schedule what your fragrance. You can use you iphone or iPad with iOS 5 installed to maintain multipal fragrances through out the day based on time and location. It's as easy as setting an appointment in your calendar.

Since they are doing this, I can guarantee you that apple will be putting better microphones into their next devices.

I know it's wishful thinking but I hope one day we don't need to jailbreak.
