CocoaNuts Releases Celeste Bluetooth File Transfer App

The wait for Celeste is over. The sweet new jailbreak application that's been on the horizon for quite some time has finally arrived. It's another beauty that comes to us from CocoaNuts, the so-called "crack team of tweakologists" behind the YourTube jailbreak app and Gremlin jailbreak framework.

An outstanding alternative to the iBluenova app (limited to iOS 3.x.), Celeste is available now in our Cydia repo. In a nutshell, Celeste lets jailbreakers send and receive files and photos over something Apple is yet to offer us directly via the iPhone - Bluetooth File Transfer. But where Apple drops the ball, jailbreaking picks up the slack... yet again. In this particular case, all virtual high-fives should be directed toward CocoaNuts, who has delivered this awesome new functionality to our jailbroken iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, iPod touch, (and even the iPad running iOS4 or later).

Last week, CocoaNuts announced that Celeste would roll out this week, after having been put through some rigorous testing "here at CocoaNuts labs." Released earlier this month was a teaser video highlighting Celeste in action. Very nice. Myself really sont use BT to transfer files anymore because whatever you're looking for is either on App Store, Cydia etc.

That's awesome! Not entirely sure I'd use it much, seeing as I don't know anyone with a jailbroken device. But still neat.

You cant use 4.3 because of Action Menu is for 4.2!

I know its tethered but it is stable, No problem going 4.2.1 right now. Just want to let people know!

I still think I was the first person to pay for it.

No not the same firmware because you can bluetooth files to other phones like nokia and mobile devices and all. Just not on 4.3 yet because of jailbreak is not untethered and also the Action Menu program it uses doesnt work in 4.3 yet. There will be update I know when the untethered comes to 4.3 or 4.3.1

open changes and hit refresh at the top left. after it reloads you should see it

Just installed this on i4 iOS 4.2.1 and i am locked in a respring cycle
first i am at the lock screen for like 2 minutes with Lockinfo loading then it resprings and the cycle goes on, i tried restarting

Note: i can't even get sbsetting to come up and i can't get mobile substrate to go into safe mode :S

There is a very stable untethered jailbreak for 4.2.1 on windows and Mac.

i've did it more than 10 times but till now nothing !? i've found a crack one but i want to buy offical !?
