Why's everyone so fricking scared of a real keyboard ?
It would only ever be an option - not a replacement.
A lot of people (think BB users) won't buy iPhones because they need a physical KB.
Agreed, PKB's are pretty uncool because they don't handle well - but well implemented they could handle sufficiently to make them usable.
Looking 'cool' and minimalist aesthetics count for zilch if a device is unusable for half the market.Last edited by iPhoneThereforeIAm; 02-17-2011 at 05:03 PM.

In a way I'm for the simplistic design that the iPhone already has, but at the same time I love the keyboard on my HTC G2/Desire Z (which I am typing this post with). I think Apple could pull off a keyboard if it is a good design that doesnt take away from the great simple, sleek design that the iPhone already has.
I would have never liked the idea of a physical keyboard on an iPhone if I hadnt gotten the G2. You people who think it is a bad idea must try one of these.
