My worry is that I currently pay $40 for unlimited data/email AND 1500 text/MMS messages. If the iPhone plan is $40 for just the data and email, and no text, that will push my bill in the stratosphere to have to separate everything, and I will VERY SERIOUSLY rethink the phone. It's already painful enough to have moved from paying $70 a month for unlimited absolutely everything, and 1000 anytime minutes with TMobile to 900 anytime, and only 1500 texts for $100.

Well, nothing's in stone just yet. No need to worry until At&t posts their plans for the iPHone.

bet you a dollar that you wont get an iPhone w/ out the data plan even if its not required... i wouldent sell it if the person behind you is willing to pay for it i blow you off and make money from the next guy also good luck on getting an iphone on an upgrade unless you have a hook up or the store your going to isnt busy

everythingiphone's forum has a post about the iphone REQUIRING a data plan of some kind... its how the visual voicemail and all the interweb integration works seamlessly.. kind of a pain for me, i wish that was advertised up front

Not really. Attingular posted that 2 1/2 days before you posted your thread. Yours was just confirmation of what Attingular posted, that's why I started the new thread over there.

The only thing Attingular didn't do was give a price. Cash's source gave a price, so I posted it on EiP.
