Retailers Preparing for White iPhone 4 Inventory

Engadget has posted an image of a Best Buy label/barcode sticker for a white iPhone 4, under the impression that it is a fairly recent find. It is also noted that the Source, a Canadian electronics retailer (that's right, I'm canadian), is also preparing to clear out room for the new iPhone 4 White edition.

While there is no price difference, one can only imagine that the White iPhone 4 will be a hot item. We are assuming that the release is only a few weeks away, maybe even sooner. Most evidence points to a very close release. We are even seeing more retailers popping up with these new action plans.

Are you getting an white iPhone 4?

I wanted the (white) Iphone 4 but to purchase instead of waiting for the I5 would be a waste of money!

Man Apple is going to be cranking in the money, iPhone 4 for VZW, White iPhone 4 coming, and then the new iPhone 5 and iPad 2 coming out. They'll have customers dipping in all four of those. Awesome

At this point, I don't think anyone cares with the 5 right around corner!!

Hey i do

I can't wait for an iphone 5. Ill buy the white iphone hopefully this month (February) Than in september or around there ill buy an iphone 5. No contracts on both phones if possible and on Verizone. I don't use data and voice at the same time so i don't care. Im on wifi areas 90% of the time so don't care for high speed 3G.

On a side note i don't care for 4G since in my state Utah we don't have 4G..... yet. When we do ill start complaining that my iphone doesn't have 4G

I agree -- I have a wht 3GS and really would've liked a wht i4 but w all this i5 speculation it would be silly to not wait a few more months

if the white iphone 4 comes out, it will be hard for me to pass up.... i still have the 3g..... but the iphone 5, if it has white, might be worth the wait....

I bought mine at the end of September. I wonder if I could throw a fit and have apple swap mine out for a white one? That's why I waited so long in the first place to get the black one

About 8 months late for me, but I am sure it will still sell. For someone that REALLY wanted one they could probably ebay their current handset and rebuy a white one, possibly even make a couple bucks at the end there. I think the resale value of the white will be higher when it comes time to get rid of your "old" iPhone for the next iPhone (5) due to less market saturation.

You could probably throw a fit, thus entertaining a bunch of people at the Apple store.

I WAS going to wait for the iPhone 5, but my 'feature' phone on Verizon that I've had for 2 years broke recently, so I'll be buying the Verizon iPhone 4 (hopefully white, if it's out by then) on the 19th of this month!

Wouldn't do anything, even if there actually was something wrong with it they'd just replace it with a black one.

Throw as much of a fit you want. If Apple still has black iPhones in their inventory......guess what you're getting. Not a white one.

White modkits for the i4 aren't too expensive...

All I'm looking for in a white iphone is whether or not it solves the iphone-in-the-sun-overheating problem. If it did, I may consider a white-based solution.

I would opt for the white i4 conversion as it's budget friendly or go even cheaper with vinyl sticker i4 kit
