Greenpois0n For Windows Released: Untethered Jailbreak for 4.2.1

Two days earlier we saw the release of GreenPois0n for Mac, and today we are presented with the Windows version. This is an untethered jailbreak for iOs 4.2.1

As usual there might be some hiccups but you'll find plenty of discussion in this thread. Remember, anyone looking to unlock should NOT be updating their baseband. Do not be doing any updating unless you absolutely have to.

The Mac version has also been updated and fixes many bugs and issues that people were having earlier. Check it out if your on a Mac and still having problems.

I'm jailbroken (tethered) via Redsn0w. Should I restore the phone first or just rejailbreak it as is? I also heard there were problems getting cydia to load. Is this a possible solution?

Worked great over my tethered redsnow jailbreak. Shut it off and it boots right up. Yaaay!! No more thethered jailbreak!

And it's an iPhone 4 running 4.2.1, if that makes any difference.

After I already downgraded to 4.1 and re-did everything because iTunes couldn't restore from a backup of an older firmware

great news, but the site is down. For those who don't know: If you have a tethered jailbreak with redsn0w, you don't have to restore and rejailbreak, you can run greenpois0n over it and get an untethere jb

I have been trying all day. Figured I would try one last time for today and bam the sight loads and there it is! Must have been about the first one! It loaded in 2 secs
