Things went great for me also with my iPad. Now I need to update my i4 to 4.2.1 and GP it.

thunderwolf, I got the same message in the end as you did. I just waited for a bit and my iPad rebooted and I am now untethered! I am very happy now.

i left it alone and after 5 minutes or so it did go further and got to the apple logo. i let it sit there for another 5 min and still on the apple logo. i had to boot it with redsn0w. im trying to GP again right now.

Dont run it in any compatibility mode. Only redsnow needs all that.

Any update will wipe your jailbreak apps. You can use something like pkgpackup to quickly reinstall though.

hey if I have an iphone on 4.1 right now and I have the shsh saved in Cydia, can I use Redsn0w to update to 4.2.1 and then use this?

cause I'm a little confused on how to go about updating/jailbreaking my 4.1 iphone 4 to 4.2.1 and still preserving my unlock....please help?

My jailbreak is NOT working. Help?

Computer: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

With a:
- iPod Touch 4G
- Running iOS 4.2.1
- Had tethered redsn0w jailbreak

Issue:
After "Jailbreak", I was stuck on the the greenpois0n logo. It was like this for about 15 minutes, until it automatically restart it's self. It will NOT turn on, and is in a continuous restart loop, where it will just bring me back to the apple logo, then go black, then apple logo, then black, etc.

Anything I should do?
