Too little too late AT&T. Should not have jerked your customers around as much as you did. Now they will leave you in an exodus. They have no loyalty to you because you had no loyalty to them. Enjoy and watch you customer base disappear even with the new iPhone about to come out.

Now, I don't claim to be the most wise or all knowing... But isn't the iPhone statistically what has made AT&T the giant that it is? I thought I very recently saw some numbers that showed that the iPhone made up a very large percentage of AT&T's population.
I had Verizon for 9 years before I switched last year for the iPhone. Yes, CDMA is teh l0se, but seriously... I feel like AT&T just doesn't 'get it'.

How about just dropping some prices AT&T. That'll "entice" people to stay more than anything.

There is no way I would go to Verizon, been there, done that. I have had AT&T for 5 years, and have not had a bit of trouble with the service. But with that said, it all depends on where you live.

No matter what the reason behind the GB increase, we are the winners. The war has begun and I am happy about it. Why gripe about a good thing?

So glad I got the at&t unlimited plan back in the day now I am grandfathered in and they can't take it away whew

ehh... Jailbroke i4 with unlimited data, and tetherme.
Though, with 4GB, I probably don't go over that too often, so it is a nice little bonus for those who have the new limited plans. It's not where you've been, or where you're going..
It's where you are.
Reflect on the past, plan for the future, mod for today.

Another example why monopolies are bad and competition is good.

ATT really needs to add it to the iPad data plan, if they wait until verizon starts offering tablet data plans it will be too late.Sure is nice to have choices now.I don't drink kool-Aid, I don't join cults.
This is why I break out in cold sweat going to Apple retail store.

Just joined AT&T after I had had it with Tmobile crappy service in my area, they were cool though and didn't charge me early termination because they said it was their fault for bad reception! I love AT&T great service and with my educator discount I get a fair price! Only thing that sucks is my discount doesn't cover 200MB plan only 2GB that's the only thing I dont like

AT&T definitely needs to bring back the unlimited data back. To compete with Verizon, this is needed.

I always thought it would make sense for Att to do data rollover... Y wouldn't they just go with one of there biggest selling points from before with a revision for the changing times we live in?! It would be nice. :P

I am currently grandfathered in with AT&T...I am jailbroken, and have mywi. I use over 10gb a month easy...as I use my phone as my main (and only) Internet connection on my laptop at home for everything (downloading music, movies, etc)
Now....if I did this with verizon (or attempted), my contract would be "terminated"..what does that even mean???? With AT&T I can do WHATEVER I want!!! As MUCH as I want!!
This is a horrible lie by Verizon...and I hope people don't sign up thinking they have unlimited data when....they really 5gb...unreal. I can very easily see a law suit.
If you are grandfathered in with AT&T....don't even think about switching. I have always been impartial to Verizon...but this is crossing the line!El Zurdo
