Adobe Photoshop for iOS Now Supports Retina Display
Adobe Photoshop Express for iOS has been updated to support many more of the core features found in iOS 4.2. It may not be as full-featured as it’s big brother on the Mac, but it is still quite capable nonetheless. Multitasking is one of the best new features that was sorely lacking from previous versions. The app is now also compatible with Retina displays on the iPhone 4 and forth generation iPod Touch. Photoshop Express is a universal binary app so it is compatible with the iPad as well, but you won’t notice any improvements in screen clarity.
Images on screen have never looked better with this update because the app now supports Retina displays. Adobe has also added support for “background upload completion”, so you’ll never have to babysit this app again. You can now leave the app running in the background while you work on other things and images will continue to upload automatically. This is a welcomed improvement from the previous version.
Although this version of Photoshop still only offers the most basic Photoshop tools, what it does, it does quite well. The app is remarkably swift considering the fact that it’s running on an iPhone with limited processing capabilities. This update brings with it welcomed improvements to an already capable app. It’s been a mainstay on my iPhone since it first came out. Now if Adobe could only add a few more basic Photoshop tools I would be very happy indeed.

Let's not hold our breath waiting for more tools. We all know how 'lazy' Adobe is...

Nice to see that even though Apple doesn't care about Adobe, Adobe still cares about apple

I had this app and was really happy with it. Used it all the time. Then I purchased camera+ and haven't looked back! Has all the features of the adobe app and tons more!

Camera+ is a much better photo editor app than this.
