Thread: New Themes Section Comes to Cydia

  1. #41
The only downside i see is if you not one of the 15 or 20 featured themes you get lost in the sea of all the other garbage in the theme section. it would be nice if the basic theme section was setup the same as the featured theme section. just a thought
I'll smoke it with ya bro, we'll go to the loony bin together. I don't give a ****!

Am I the only person on this forum that thinks that even the nicer themes make the OS look cheap and inconsistent? Feel free to recommend me an elegant theme that doesn't leave me with icons that aren't themed and certain GUI elements that seem out of place.

You need to check out iNitsua Z HD!!!! I've been rocking it for a couple months. It's sleek, SEXY, and gets compliments all the time.

Hell anything knitz does is sexy as hell, along with z, free apple, alien, raptors, wynd all top themers (sorry if i forgot anyone) i think the stock iphone looks cheap and tacky imo and themeing was the top reason i got into jb'ng back in the ziphone days, themes are like my ritalin for my iphone adhd, and i think once the dust settles and themeit is iut they can only better the community.....a year and a half from now when saurik buys themeit and disposes of it is another story

+1 Boom! I like that quote, I'm going to try and use that in one of my courses this week

I like that new section. Also excited for ThemeIt.

Who cares? I make my own themes w/Photoshop, tweaks available on Cydia and bits and pieces freely available (legit) from different sites. Why would I want to buy a theme? I guess convenience, but I'd rather customize my own way than use someone else's work whole-cloth. Even when I used dBar, it was just a jumping-off place. I suppose I'm in the minority here, though. Good luck to both parties, make lots of money and prosper.

This is good news, but the day Cydia gets a full UI overhaul and a REVIEW system like rock will be the day I am a very happy man.

I am sick and tired of buying a cydia app only to find out it doesn't work (I'm looking at you Intelliborn). I am sick and tired of the slow payment system that often freezes on me. In fact, sometimes I have gotten so sick of trying to pay for an app that I have given up and downloaded the pirated version from right beneath the legit version in Cydia. That is not good for developers or saurik.

Payment needs to be super fast. And to those saying use amazon, it's only available to US residents.

Try Elite Pro HD. Runs smooth and themes all icons. Looks good on retina display. I had elite pro on my 3GS when it first came out, then upgraded when I got my iPhone 4.

In the long run, all that matters is who's product is better.

What Cydia really needs is a new UI! It looks too old & outdated. Hopefully this new store will have a UI that will force Cydia to do some remodeling.

It's not that great...just got it. The 'Back' feature is too cumbersome between pgs as well

Better give me a switch to not display this section now.

    I like it.
It is Not by our Hands that things Change, BUT rather our Interventions that change ourselves.

Cydia is so mis-managed/ un-managed, I wouldn't be surprised if everyone left that sinking ship.

7 weeks after uploading my theme and I still can't connect to Cydia Connect.
