Well its two separate themes to be exact so i don't think the problem lies with the theme. I installed Tekse7en on one device and Inception HD on the other. I couldn't log into the same account on both devices (Which is stupid i think) so i had to create an additional account on the other device and couldn't bring myself to purchase the same theme twice just to experiment with the issue.

I haven't had anyone else say that about my theme but just checked and yes I do get crashes on Cydia. Only since I bought and installed themes though. Weird! They will fix it I'm sure

yea it only happens once you install something from there. Good new is that you can resolve the issue by simply uninstalling the theme. Its best to copy over your theme to your pc via SSH first before uninstalling so you can keep the theme.

Its not the theme thats the problem. Its the install process of theme it thats to blame. I can copy the theme over to my pc via SSH and uninstall the theme with theme it and then copy the theme back to my phone via SSH and reapply it and the problem is solved. The theme is not to blame.
WTH kind of first post was that?Last edited by kickerman65; 01-25-2011 at 12:48 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Hey ToyVan........ Nice lookin' theme you got there. As soon as I have $3 on my damn card I'll get it.
Any chance there will be an iPad version to this app? You know, with iPad themes? It just feels like the iPad has been left out of the theming world..... I don't believe "theming" is actually a word......Last edited by Doran; 01-25-2011 at 04:40 AM. Reason: Add in......

apple locked down what type of apps you could get and gave rise to cydia. Now cydia wants to lock down/ decide what apps you are allowed to have. Money is a heck of a motivation.

i downloaded themeit and have been using it...well trying. the only issue is every theme has a price. there is no minimal themes or themes from creators that create for the love of it. not that this is a big deal but theres also a low percentage of SD themes which is bad for everyone who doesnt have a 4th gen device..but it is nicely done.

Confirmed from my end. I can reproduce the problem of Cydia crashing by searching anything remotely close to a name of a theme bought & installed off theme it. and the problem of Cydia crashing can be resolved by uninstalling the theme.
PS, thank you kickerman for giving a solution. Did the SSH and worked great
