iOS 4.3 Beta Reveals Revised, Upgraded Hardware and new MobileMe Feature

As usual, developers have gone digging into the latest beta release, iOS4.3 and have discovered some pretty interesting add-ons and new hardware that should be coming in the next few months.
First, unreleased devices are being referenced in the new firmware, including several new iphones: a possibly revised iPhone 4 (iPhone 3,3, the AT&T iPhone 4 is referenced as iPhone3,1 and the the Verizon iPhone is iPhone 3,2) and a more significant hardware upgrade (iPhone4,1 and 4,2). The firmware also references a new set of iPads (iPad 2,1 through 2,3) which I'm sure comes as a shock to everyone, however the multiple versions referenced could be more proof that the iPad 2 will come to multiple carriers.
Also discovered in the beta firmware is an unreleased MobileMe service, currently called "Find My Friends", which could be a service to rival other popular location-based social networking services such as Loopt or Google Lattitude.
Along with these discoveries, iOS 4.3 provides many new features, including in-app AirPlay, multi-touch gestures for the iPad, and the mobile hotspot feature, first announced on the Verizon iPhone 4.
The iOS 4.3 software update will be available for the iPad, iPhone 4 and 3GS, and the iPod Touch 4th and 3rd Generation, it seems unlikely, with the referencing of the new, upgraded hardware, that any older device will receive the 4.3 upgrade.

I wouldn't want my friends to know where I'm at all the time. Apple could have added a better feature like "find my jailbreak".

Ok I'm getting really upset - why the heck has Apple not addressed the most obvious 2 updates that the iDevices need:
1. A PSP type saved game feature where saves can be backed up and restored via iTunes - like Chronus but official
2. A free turn by turn Google maps app like the Androids have. I love my phone, but when I have a buddy in the car that owns an Android, he/she is the one giving the directions.

Hrmmm guess this is going to mean. No more Geo exploit for the new devices. For those of you that dont have one right now. U better go get one before they drop the latest batch with the firmware.

This is like the 5th variation of basically the same "news" that MMi has posted in the last 24. Bet there will be another one up in a few minutes detailing the iPad camera and same resolution display also revealed (or hinted at) in 4.3.

Wonder if we will see a 4.2.1 jb or if we will just wait till 4.3 is released. Can't wait to see the new products come down the pipeline and the features they will have. Definitely want google maps with turn by turn navigation speech.
