I agree to an extent, 250 no way, 220? very very possible.
But I see where your coming from, apple is all about new features, same price point. I'm sure they can figure out a way to keep the existing price points, and just jack up the monthly payments a bit.
On the other hand, CDMA a feature people have been waiting for since the iPhone was released, and a whole new 4g network (if it ends up supporting LTE this revision), Apple could EASILY get away with charging an addition 20$'s per phone, especially if it supports GSM+CDMA like the BBs.
We shall see tomorrowThe only thing I ask in return for helping, is that you click the thanks button, Thanks!

Cannot wait until these so called die hard customers from AT&T move over to Verizon to grab there iPhones .. that will free up MUCH more network power for us dedicated customers of AT&T .. for me, now going on 13 years with AT&T .. 1998 (AT&T), moved over to Cingular, and back to AT&T .. I wouldn't change, NEVER had any problems with them.

I believe AT&T has the upper hand on Verizon right now. They've obviously been preparing for this. The are the sole carrier of Windows 7 phones (for now), they still have the iPhone 4 and iPad with a very large marketshare, they have all the latest Blackberries (yes people still love them), and they have a few of the latest Android devices. Finally they are rolling out a new 4G upgrades that's obviously boosting the 3G network as well. I would say AT&T is in very good shape right now. Verizon is the one that should be worried. They have been losing new customers to AT&T and the iPhone 4 and who knows how their network will perform once the iPhone 4 lands. I sure hope their prices stay competitive or they may be in more trouble than we think.

Companies tend to keep the numbers very round so $220 would be unusual. And that would just give the impression of nickel and diming. Verizon really needs the extra $20? No one would buy that notion they they can't afford to let it go for $200 but will for $220.
And its seems extremely unlikely this iPhone will support LTE. Apple went with Edge in '07 even though AT&T's 3G was far more reaching (customer base) than LTE currently is. The summer revision is when we'll likely see LTE for both AT&T and Verizon iPhones.

I like many of you was in the Verizon iPhone camp but as of a week and a half ago I now have 3G data in my area. So my biggest reason for jumping to Verizon is gone. No need to switch. I'll gladly finish out my contact with AT&T.

Yes!! Finally iPhone on verizon. Better for me in two ways: 1. Better network 2. More customers for my themes
I personally hate verizon so I'll never switch.
Also my guess would be that verizon expects the massive bandwidth usage so if they do have problems then they're just stupid.

The first thing people are going to ***** about with verizon, is their network speed. which is FAR below what att or even tmobile offers. In my area the speeds are well above average and 5-6x that of the verizon network. I know verizon covers ALOT of area, but I am not willing to sacrifice speed for a little bit more coverage.
