Will i be able to restore and then jailbreak again if i jailbreak my iphone 4 with the jailbroken is available now (tethered)

Just took the plunge and jailbreak with redsnow on iPad 4.2.1, wish I would have waited.....everytime I download a cydia app that requires a reboot.....bam, gotta fricken repeat redsnow process!!!!!!! Oh well, stupid is as stupid does!!!

I'm on 4.0.1 on my 3gs, unlocked for t-mobile (which I use), would there ever really be a need for me (so far) to upgrade it once a new unlock comes out?

4.1 has some nice features but 4.2 depends on what you want... In my opinion, no 4.2 isn't that great unless you have an iPad... I just need the JB for the i4 I'm getting soon cause you know it'll already have 4.2 on it...

Careful there, MN did say that the jailbreak (this) used in his proof of concept video would be usable on the ATV 2G and that never had any beta ipsw files released.

What would be cool is if there was an app developed for cydia which tricks your phone into thinking it never turned off. That way a tethered jailbreak wouldn't be a hassle. Don't get me wrong.... Im not saying it's possible, only saying it would be nice.

I am luckily still jailbroken on 4.1 after restoring but thank GOD apple was still signing 4.1

Does 4.2 seem to fix the "..having to push the home button multiple times for it wake" situation? thinking of doing a complete restore maybe that would help

It's actually very easily understandable if you replace a couple words.

Probably using 4.1 for that one then? He did say it works for the next couple of firmwares or so after the untethered one used. Anyways, all I was saying was that MN's backup plan won't help Antman217, as he would only be able to get hashes for 4.2.1 from a brand new iPhone. His only shot at not being tethered when he jailbreaks right now is getting 4.1 out of the box.

If u updated to 4.2.1 then u deserve the tethered jailbreak. Ur a idiot for updating in the 1st place. ( and before you say I accidentally updated , I call u a lying p.o.s u were Asked a few times to verify and then watch the update. So there is no accidents) 4.2.1 only offers air print is that really worth updating. And losing a untethered jailbreak.

I'm just ranting. Tired of hearing of people cry over tethered jailbreaks!!!!
