I also just bought it at the sale price, but it's hit or miss if it works. When it does it's awesome. When it doesn't it throws iTunes errors about not being able to connect or sync. I've uninstalled for the moment and will wait in hopes 2.0 is a better version.

On the other hand not everyone fits the same usage scenario as you, and dismissing their opinions as "worthless" because of this is ignorant at best. I'd remind you that there are many people who sync their iDevices less than once a month. Personally, I only hook it up to my computer to load a new firmware or jailbreak it. My contacts/calendar already auto-sync OTA whenever a change is made, and I stream my media through AirVideo. I don't need to purchase this app to realize it wouldn't benefit me.

It's really a good app if you don't have a lot to sync or if you have a fast Internet connection. Well worth it for $3. I'm syncing now and typing this and it's not to shabby. I wonder if it would work faster if you did it through an ad-hoc network.

In my post I mentioned how it works great for me while I am in the garage or backyard. I also own a 2 story home( I DID NOT POST THAT). I am nowhere close to my computer. My wifi is great though.
Then you say,"On the other hand not everyone fits the same usage scenario as you, and dismissing their opinions as "worthless" because of this is ignorant at best. I'd remind you that there are many people who sync their iDevices less than once a month."
If someone is only syncing once a month, then why would they even need "wifi Sync?" In fact, if someone is only syncing once a month, their opinion on rather this App is worth it or not is voided! They wouldn't get much use out of it, just like they don't get much use out of their cord, unless charging!
If you were buying a gt500 and some idiot wanted to tell you the v6 4.o is just as good the 5.4 4 valve Supercharged V8, would you listen to him? My point is people who know nothing, or haven't tried something shouldn't knock it before they try it.
There is a difference between constructive criticism and ignorance.
You said,"My contacts/calendar already auto-sync OTA whenever a change is made, and I stream my media through AirVideo. I don't need to purchase this app to realize it wouldn't benefit me.[/QUOTE]
I have thought about changing my set up to something similar. What are you using? Are you using "mobile me?"

Only works 10% of the time and screws up regular syncing. Wasted cash!!!
