What's New In Cydia: MyOS, Quake 3 for iPad, iControl...

Here are some new apps and updates to check out in Cydia this week.
MyOS

MyOS is an unified, all-in-one, package tweak, that enables further settings to be adjusted in the Settings App, rather than having to edit a plist file.
Such settings you can enable or disable are: Multitasking, Homescreen WallPapers, Unified iPod (merged video and ipod apps into the Music App), AppStore Access, Contacts, Enable HDR photos, GameCenter (3G only), Camera and Voice Control. Simply choose to enable or disable the options you want, and then respring.
MyOS is available in cydia for $0.99.
Quake 3 Arena HD (for iPad)

If you missed the news earlier, Alexander Pick and Controlsystem have managed to port the Quake 3 app to the iPad to enjoy the wonder HD goodness we have all come to love.
Coming in at 1024x768, you can play online or offline, and features onscreen controls. There is some setup required, as per usual. If you need help setting things up, then you can follow the information provided in the package on cydia.
iControl

iControl will automatically manage the usage of your WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth, and 2G radios on your device, in order to maximize the battery life of your iPhone. iControl allows you to set App-Specific rules, keeping it customized to your liking.
Once you have configured your preferences, iControl will manage things when your phone is locked.
You can find iControl in Cydia for $4.99By ensuring that you use only the fastest battery sucking radios like 3G and Bluetooth when you need them iControl will extend your battery life by up to 100%!
Also in Cydia...

^ Pathetic.
Auto3G already does the radio management, but so far as I can tell it offers no tangible benefit. That's likely why this technique isn't implemented by any OEMs.They can have my jailbreak when they pry it from my cold dead fingers.

Ya not much use on an iPhone 4, but could be very useful on a 3G and maybe even 3GS.

Yes and i had previously enabled Game Center through ssh but I restored a few days ago and was looking for an alternate method but I already tried respringing and rebooting but no luck. Have you tried this and succeeded or just asking? Everything else works fine though.

i forgot to mention something about MYOS
I own both iphone 3gs and Iphone4.
everything works fine with the 3gs, i can turn any of the settings of an on and even the respring feature works like a charm. however its not the same when i tried in my iphone4 when it went on safe mode, making me unable to use it, hopefully its just a compatible issue that would get fix in the next updates.

I bought MyOs to enable the HDR feature for the camera but it doesn't work. After switching on/off the features, you're supposed to hit a "Respring" button. The respring button highlights but doesn't respring the phone. You have to hit the "Cancel" button to return to the rest of the settings. Total waste of $.99
