    what about .FLAC support? I can play flacs on openstreamer, but its not brilliant

    Not sure why this is really news considering how much of a pos the ipad version is. It's not even worth the download.

    OpenStreamer has HUGE performance problems on every iDevice i've tested it on (incl. iPhone & iPod 4) and doesn't give you any option to pay for it, instead you can't remove the ads.

    I haven't tried VLC but Oplayer works GREAT, a lot better than OpenStreamer.

    Well this will be grate as far as watching video in an iPhone is concerned. Hopefully we won't have to change the video formate to mp4 to get the video synced..

    Anybody tried it? Video is fine but audio seems funny. is it just me?

    So far I am disappointed with VLC. It is running on my iPhone 4 with iOS 4.1
