FolderEnhancer Released: Get The Most Out Of Your Folders
[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pCRh7gcAOs]YouTube - FolderEnhancer - Preview[/ame]
FolderEnhancer, developed by ashikase, has been an app many of us have been looking forward to. This tweak improves on the native folders in iOS 4 creating a much more logical solution for organizing and accessing your apps.
Here is a quick overview of some of the features included in FolderEnhancer:
- Open folders faster.
- Add up to 320 icons to a folder (20 pages, 16 per page).
- Create folders inside of folders.
- Create folders on the dock.
- Supports Iconoclasm for custom layouts inside of folders.
- Extends MultiIconMover to allow moving multiple icons into/out of folders.
- Options include hiding the folder name and wallpaper, as well as disabling animations.
Available in Cydia for $1.99, previous CategoriesSB customers can grab the upgrade for $0.99. The price will apparently increase come November, so grab it now while it's only $1.99!
*Not yet compatible with iOS 4.1

So this is basically a port of CatgoriesSB to 4.x, rather than using the native system? Meh, I think I'll stick to what I have now, CategoriesSB gave me more than enough problems in its day.

Looks real good. Does anyone know if there is a option to scroll folders up & down. I currently use infinifolders. I prefer flick scrolling over swiping. If I can't mod it...I don't want it.

The only problem is that every time u place an app in, pull an app out, rearrange apps inside it updates the picture, couldn't you just make it so it updates to a full icon?
If you put an app in to the folder that was like 120 by 120 it would probably work until you opened the folder lol

I'm going to stick with infinifolders for now. It handles my needs fine w/o any bugs

I don't understand how it would be faster?

Bought this this morning. It now replaces Categories SB, FoldersInFolders, and I dumped a few others too. Folder icon replacement would be an excellent new feature. I think this is a great first release, and can't wait to see where it goes.
A bit off subject, I stopped using Iconoclasm since the dev took away assigning different custom layouts to different pages. I've since replace iconoclasm with chpwn's Gidlock. So much less hassle than Iconoclasm. Ashikase might consider supporting it instead of, or along with Iconoclasm.

Great mod. I wish we can hide the dock and vertical scrolling though.
