I still use my DS over my iPod touch. DS is meant for gaming, but not the iPod touch.

Simple games like angry birds and bejeweled are fun on my iPhone, but any in depth game or sports game needs real controls.
I'll stick with my ps3 on a 50" with 1080p...
Now they just need to finally release GT5!!

Nothing beats gaming on the iPad. It's bloody awesome. Need for Speed World hands down my favorite game at the moment!!

HOLY CRAP. Why are gamers exploding? Is it because when you use the iphone too long the lithium in the battery leaks out and has a deadly reaction with the air? That's the last time I play another game on my iphone, thanks for the heads up.

Haha, knew this'd happen sometime. Sony gonna suck it up!

I used to be a gamer on my iPhone until I got tired of it draining my iPhone's battery. But yes indeed... iPhone is very good at games, you just have to adventure to find an entertaining one...

I just had a picture of people exploding all over the place in America - blood and guts everywhere....He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask a question remains foolish forever.

The ability to play against gamers on other platforms is way overdue...let's show 'em the awesomeness of iOS

I just love it when people say things like this, out of 80 million people half of those play on iOS devices. How do they know this you ask, they did a survey asking 10 thousand persons... Yes that's 10,000 what a great representation of 80 million... :/ maybe not...
09-16-2010, 12:19 AM #37
10k is a relatively decent survey size, compared to most other "surveys" you'll see these days.

That might be, but I still think it's quite a ridiculous claim that it would represent 80 million people.

The bash iPhone as a gaming platform because the are right iPhone Gamers is an oxymoron if ever I heard one. I play lots of games on my iPhone, mostly when I'm somewere board, not because they are good challanging games, for that I go to PSP, PS3, XbOX

As I always say...each to their own. I for one love gaming on my iPhone4, but the lack of engaging games, in terms of depth is still disappointing given the capability of these devices.
As for touch controls over buttons, love touch controls but would appreciate some kind of button based bluetooth add-on controller to give me more options.
