I can believe it..Apple may want a fresh start in the hacking scene. Qualcomm also is coming out with dual core chips for phones so why not be the first dual core phone.

i wonder if apple is looking into this because of the exploit found in the A4 chip. funny how this story comes out a few days after DevTeam members say they have a chip exploit. Jailbreakers will always prevail

haha I kinda like how the thread turned into: "what kinda iPhone job has"
so this means in a case of an iphone 5 the unlock will take way longer as the devteam is confronted with whole new hardware right?I don't give a damn about Chuck Norris, Spongebob can grill under water!

Qualcomm is a good choice. It's their patents that lead to 3G baseband.

Nah
To say that a company the size of Apple would make decisions about his main product hardware because of the possibility of a jailbreak/unlock is childish, to say the least.

CDMA is Qualcomm's forte.

Jobs wouldnt need cydia. He would just have the restrictions removed by a software engineer and install the apps like normal lol
its funny they pay so much attention to Jailbreaking but yet only about 10% of iPhones are Jailbroken. If there wasnt jailbreaking then the New iOS's wouldnt have much, everything that apple added to the new iOS or about 80% of it was from Apps that were on the App Store for about a Year or more lol
