How about writers stop writing about rumors and wait for an official announcement from apple or maybe the cell phone carrier. I mean an official announcement 100% direct from the company not just a rumor.

My wife was a t-mobile rep and trust me reps don't have a clue, they cant even help you if you call in with an unlocked iphone on there service, i mean they can answer basic questions with there packages but nothing obtaining to the iPhone, TRUST ME the T-mobile Reps are just as bad with rumors as we are. Luckily she doesn't work there anymore.

The problem with that is both Apple and T-Mobile are reasonably silent when it comes to actually detailing their big plans. Remember Project Black last year? That "project' was so secretive and internal that no one dared to talk about it up until about 3 weeks before launch. That's not much lead time if you ask me. We'd know about the phone via the FCC (even if it was just a statement of confidentiality) long before either party would divulge info.
Other than that, we wouldn't know if the iPhone came out on T-Mobile until it was pretty much flung like [insert word] in our our faces.
I'm sorry, but rumors are the only way any info gets pushed out nowdays and they force companies to answer about the 'elephant in the room.'

Ok so you right about most of it but come on seriously all this guy posts is rumors about the iPhone going to T-Mobile or Verizon. It's old and a waste of space on the front page. Make a Rumor Thread just for him and keep it there we don't want rumors, facts are better.
I almost forgot Cricket is getting the iPhone at midnight on Dec 5th, 2010. Source: The Corporate Lead for Chicago area said so.

...so what if he posts rumors, thats all they are. If you want to be optimistic, you can believe him. If you want to be pessimistic, then don't believe him. It is as simple as that. And you don't need to point out this is a rumor, we all know it is trolls. Just stop bashing the guy because he stays up to date on all the latest apple "gossip".

All the latest Apple gossip? No just rumors (gossip) about the iPhone going to another carrier. These are useless posts anyway.

I'm looking forward to the day when AT&T loses exclusivity because sooner or later, it'll drive their prices down. I have exceptional service in Central TX with AT&T and don't plan on leaving them anytime soon unless of course T-mobile improves their 3G speeds. I just need someone to force them to lower their pricing.
