In the UK, if there is a fault up to 6 months after purchase, you can demand a replacement. As its seen as a malfunction during prod. If up to 12 months, the company has to repair, not replace.
Within six months. The shop must prove goods weren't faulty when they sold 'em – after that you must prove they were. So within 6 months, o2 or Apple WILL have to replace (In the UK anyway)
Already working on my speach at the o2 customer complaints line....

Looks like there could be something in this.
Both Apple and O2's website now state delivery at 3 weeks.
Also I spoke to our Business account manager and after two days of 'looking into it' he told me to wait until October before I order.
So I've put 2+2 together and hope this is true...then again you know apple!!
