Believe it or not they are the same. Difference is the likely of a person who lost $10 on a song is less likely to press charges than a person who lost $600+ phone.

Actually, if it is a single phone, it is not considered a felony where as pirating any copy-written work is. Pretty sad, really.

ha.. yea, i did it with tmobile phones. it was 50 dollars less than a federal matter, so i got really lucky.

well most likely these stolen iphones would of made its way to craiglist and ebay. by the time the conusmer purchased them.. they would have no idea it was a stolen phone in the first place.

This is so sad, but so true. Do you really think that this does not happen DAILY?
I don't know if any of you remember, but two months BEFORE the EURO was oficially introduced, four truck loads of the euro coins were stolen. inside jobs are ugly but efficient. iphones are just the tip of the iceberg, but they have been caught. The good guys got one small catch, and i am glad about it!
