Report: New Apple Products/Updates Ahead

On Monday, DigiTimes presented a substantive list of new Apple products and updates that, according to parts suppliers, could roll out in the coming months from the Cupertino-based tech giant. Based on the information gleaned from those in the know, the aforementioned list will likely include the following:

An upgraded 9.7-inch iPad with a new ARM Cortex-A9-based processor and 512MB RAM.
A 7-inch iPad using the Cortex-A9 processor and an IPS panel with a resolution of 1024×768.
A new Apple TV using AMD's Fusion solution (no hard drive).
A CDMA iPhone derived from metal materials with an integrated antenna.

Assuming all of the above will actually materialize, it could be the new Apple TV that consumers will first have access to - possibly before the holiday shopping season begins in full. According to the report from Digitimes, the refreshed Apple TV will present a user interface similar to the iPhone "with support for social networking websites, network multimedia and the App Store." Mass production of the device will likely begin in a few months.

As we reported late last week, all signs also point to a looming iPod refresh - an update that come possibly be revealed as early as next week. Initially, the iPod refresh was expected to take place in September.

My iPad runs smooth and never runs low on RAM... even if they push an upgrade I'm sticking with the original. Now if they give it a retina HD display... mmmm....

indeed. If these updates were true, I am not inclined for such a minor refresh. Although I am sure it would also have a camera.

Retina display iPad is almost guaranteed.
As for a Mini iPad I don't know.
CDMA Phone, Might actually be true this time because Google is thinking of merging with Verizon , so that would mean no more Google on the iPhone.

even though i didnt want the white i4, it irritates me that apple has postponed it for this long...and keeps pushing the release date back.

if they were having problems with it from the start, why did they announce that it would be available june 24th???

lol Verizon is rolling out LTE in November here which signals the virtual end of CDMA, even if it takes a year or more to roll out network wide. Apple is spending time/resources for to develop a phone that will run on an obsolete network for a year, at most? Give it a rest already.

I'm sure VZW will get the iPhone, just not the CDMA version. It'll be LTE when it finally arrives.

cdma iphone will be out they'll do it for verizon.. but other cdma carriers will be able to activate the phone like they do any other cdma phone.
