The question I asked him was, have you ever gone to a late night movie premier? He said he had, I asked why didn't you wait a week and then go and it wouldn't be as crowded and you were sure to get a seat? He said he really wanted to see that movie. Well I really wanted that phone........

I second that, I love my phone, so glad i pre-ordered from Apple on the 15th. Now I don't have to deal with all this ******** that anyone who didn't has to deal with. Including my two friends.

i did a pre-order through best buy on the 15th, and i went in to pick it up on the 24th at the specified time that they told me, but when i went up with my presale ticket they said they only got 2 of the 32gb iphones in, and they were already gone. i asked when i should expect to get mine and they replied with a "i dont know." i complimented their great customer service and thanked them for letting me know ahead of time and walked out.

i got lucky (unlucky with the reception issues?) by snatching one easily the next morning of its release. i was bummed i didnt preorder but picked up one with like a quick 25 min wait. they were leftover phones that were held 24hrs for people who didnt pick them up.
