Only issue i had was when i first got it and restored from Itunes from my 3.1.3 set up on my 3GS... the carrier logo stayed the same with my custom setting and.. i could not get the internet to work on 3g or edge.. So restored as a new phone and since then have had no issues what so ever..
not even signal problems or prox sensor issues... i will say this auto dim suxs balls so i just turned it off..
I don't doubt there are bugs still.. i mean what new OS and or hardware these days dosent....
its the price you pay sometimes being first...
ill deal and just watch a good thing get better"Jane, get me off this crazy thing !!!!"

Dam so they should be giving the bumper case away for free to every iPhone 4 purchase just to make up for their incompetence.

i don't have any of the now "usual" problems, but i do have a dead pixel, going to the local apple store right after work to go get a new phone...

Same here.. It still works and even putting my finger over it turns off the display around an inch above. Problem is that there is something definitely different on the new iphone 4. My face hits the mute or number keys a lot. this never happened on the other 5 iphones i have had.

It's funny this came up, because when I 1st got my phone I was resting it on my shoulder and my face while I was doing other things and I ended a call but I figured it just wasnt close enough to my face and thats what happened. Then I was doing the same thing and I activated a face time call! this is probably my problem

OHHHHH WOW THIS IS HILARIOUS. This phone keeps getting better by the day!!!! i love hearing those who do crazy configurations and adjustments to get this thing working properly hahaha never that, i would just throw that pz of crap against the wall or something. Next thing you know, apple is going to sell you a bumper for the front too.

Apple release a new handset every year because it sells to existing iphone users, I reckon 80% of iphone 4 buyers will be upgrading from a previous version - they deliberately hold back features to ensure maximum sales on the next release.
Anyone else wondering why white iphone 4 is not available yet, worldwide shortage of white paint maybe? More like check out the all new iphone 4 in white this fall, now with 64gb storage and a working proximmity sensor.

i think it's just because people restore it from their old iPhone backups...
when i went from my 2G to 3GS i also had random problems when i restored from the old backup but a fresh restore with setting it up as a new phone fixed everything :P

No issues here at all. I have no yellow screen, no battery issues, no reception issues, no proximity sensor issues. My phone is working perfectly and I'm loving it!!!
I'm really sorry to hear so many people are having issues, I went through that with my iPad and wifi issues, the good news was that Apple was VERY good about replacing it until I had a fully working unit.
If you're super pissed, just return it and ask for a refund. Otherwise try to be patient till they work all these issues out. Apple has really good customer service in general, I'm sure they will ,ake this right for everyone eventually.

Lol random...?
I'm surprised all the Apple fanboys aka mods aren't posting often on these "issues with iPhone 4" problem, I guess they're in denial...
I doubt the iPhone 4 is having all these issues tbh. What about battery life? I don't see it being any better than the 3GS, this is going of the battery specs from Apple's website.

Why would three respected journalists claim incredible iPhone battery life when it’s simply not the truth.
Found this article posted today about other people having the same battery issues.
