I don't like the idea of an unboxing vid either, just reminds me that I don't have one yet because of stupidity. I know I shouldn't but I'm going to have to run around town tomorrow to see if I can get my hands on one. I guess the apple store, as much as I dislike the idea of launch day at one, could be my only hope."僕はアニメが好きです!!!"

Formatting takes space on the drive inside, and there is space taken for the operating system installed.

The LCD looks like it was damaged trying to remove it from the digitizer on the final image (lower left on the final pic)...wondering if they are fused together like the first gen iPhone

Are the people asking about why the 32gb isn't actually 32gbs being super meta sarcastic or do they really not understand how hard drives work while at the same time never looking at the available space in their damn phone?

Yeah, it sure sucks that they lie about capacity. My ipt is an 8gb and it really only has 7, and the 300mb os!. I don;t mind missing 500mb, but almost 3gb?! lame.

how do they lie about the capacity of the phone. sure its always 1 or 2 gb under what they say it is, but what about all that preloaded crap that makes your phone a phone? hmmmm no that cant be it apple is just trying to screw us.Originally Posted by ??????

Ecd5000 is right. They're not screwing you. I believe it even says "*actual formatted capacity may be less"

as far as the sim ejector tool. its probably the same use anything that fits in that hole. I have used a Staple before. It works!
