lol i could care less for windows release of 3GS cuz im not gonna be using it anymore. iPhone 4 is my new phone so it'd be useless to struggle for an iPhone 3GS jailbreak.

Hmmmm.....mine is still under warranty until end of July but I dont think iPhone 4 is out here in Ireland then. I was thinking would they replace it with an iPhone 4 and not 3GS

@one1 thanks for correcting me. That answer my question so as long as you're jailbroken you can upgrade! As long as is not with spirit lol. I'm screwed I had my 3GS replaced and I got one with 3.1.3 already on it so my only way to jb was spirit. Guess I have to keep waiting

I have just downgraded from ios4 to 3.1.2 and was wondering if i need to jailbreak with blackrain befor restoring ios4.0 custom ?
I thinking not but better been safe than sorry eh.

i also went from 3.1.2 blackrain to 3.1.3 spirit then 4.0 back to 3.1.2. Will that spirit jailbreak affect me installing even thou im back at 3.1.2?

I jailbroke 3.1.3 w/ baseband 4.26.08 on spirit. This afternoon, I jailbroke using the new dev team pwnage tool. I was able to jailbreak and unlock my phone with little problems. Itunes didnt recognize my phone at first, but as soon as I updated, the problem was gone. Now I am on 4.0 w/ 04.26.08, successfully unlocked.

Is anyone else getting "Wrong firmware bundle" when selecting iPhone2,1_4.0_8A293_Restore

I have checked in the PwnageTool.app/Contents/Resources/FirmwareBundles and it contains the iPhone2,1_4.0_8A293.bundle

Any ideas?

Ok my 4th and 5th digit in my serial number is 09. It is MC model. And I ran f0recast and it said I got 6.4 bootloader. Does this mean I got old Rom or New?

using pwange4.0 to make a custom ipsw for a iphone 3GS, old boot rom, running 3.1.2 4.26 baseband, always JB with pwnage.legit activation.

should i enable the baseband update option in pwnage?

how do you change the wallpaper on 4.0? theres no option to change the wallpaper.

Depends on if you require an unlock or not. If you have an official sim which will activate once you activate in itunes then you can enable baseband update, if you dont have an official sim which will activate it itunes you will need to deselect that option.

woah, talk about coming out of left field.

Just choose whichever pic you want, hit the arrow on the bottom left corner like normal, hit use as wallpaper and after that it will give you the option of which wallpaper (lock screen or background).

i have official sim but i want to unlock also. i believe all basebands have an unlock now either way
