You need to have a iPhone 3G or iPod Touch 2G to use Redsnow 0.9.5b5-2

To use Redsn0w 0.9.5b5-2 it REQUIRES the following:

    iTunes 9.2
    iPhone 3G
    iPod Touch 2G
    iOS4 GM

Apps need to be updated for multitasking to work with them ...very few have at this point.

I'm sure the CBS app hasn't been updated for iOS4 yet too.

Not if you have a backup and sync with that computer, then you shouldn't have a problem

Why is it that after 3 years of jailbreaking and unlocking people STILL attempt to do either without checking to make sure they've got everything they need?

I just upgraded my iPod Touch 3G to iOS 4.0. The two features that I just realized are not there for me are 1) Home Screen Wallpaper and 2) Multitasking. I'm OK with multitasking not being available on a 3G iPod Touch (I was expecting it was though) but I'm pretty sure that Home-screen wallpaper changing should be available. Any thoughts or people who are having similar problems? Or are there any people with 3G iPod Touches on iOS 4 who ARE able to change Home-Screen wallpaper?

Yes, actually. Once a jailbreak is avaialble (which there is) desktop background and multitasking is enabled by default, and works flawlessly with 3G.

it happened with me too, input your mms settings in the general: network: cellular data network: mms details… restart your iPhone and you are good to go…
