    Check your order status on ATT's website. Use your wireless number instead of the order number you received. It could have just been a duplicate order that was cancelled. That happened to me.

    I ordered one around 12:20am and it was from ATT site since the apple Site went down.

    Never Got an email to say that the order was good but called ATT the same day and they said it was all good and on time for the 24th..

    Just called them again to make sure and They said the samething the order is fine and the shipping date should be between the 24th and july 5th???

    I swear its like we all take the time in our lives to work for the money we spend on the phones .. and take the time to do the whole pre order thing... Maybe they could take the time to better prepare with something that they well know was going to be in this much demand.

    I personally think that this is something they do on purpose to create even more hype around the iphone.

    this is what happens when ATT is the only carrier available. $200 for getting sucked in to a 2-year contract or $600 for a non-carrier phone. Huge price difference. Wasn't Sprint supposed to be an optional Carrier?

    All this news got me all hot and bothered (in a bad way) so I called AT&T rep and AMAZINGLY my pre-order for 2 iPhone 4's went through and is on schedule for June 24th delivery. There is a God!

    I know a lot of people that were able to order 2 phones for the same line of service through the AT&T website yesterday at the discounted price. They were gonna sell the 2nd phone on eBay. Looks like they're going back and canceling those.

    I just checked my two orders on the ATT website and they still say "in progress." I set it up in person though and my phones are paid in full so B!+CH BETTER GET ME MY i4

    I posted to everyone in the other Fail thread to go change your order if you wanted a Black one.

    I ordered mine thru app store, and in my confirmation it says "When you come in to pick up your iPhone, you'll be part of an exciting launch at the Apple Retail Store. We'll have Specialists ready to transfer your contacts, set up email, and help you get apps so your iPhone is just the way you like it. We can't wait to see you at the store.

    Same thing happened to me. I tried ordering the phone in the morning and it appeared to fail. I got through again in the afternoon. After receiving the email I checked the order status page and saw that I still had an order preparing to ship. Apparently my first attempt went through even though I didnt realize it.

    If you got screwed on your preorder, try your nearest Best Buy. I was there today and surprisingly only 24 people Preordered until then. So, call your closest Best Buy and ask if they are still accepting preorders. You might just get lucky and it will only take you 2 minutes to figure ou if its an option

    When you pick it up in the store your upgrade eligibility and proper price point will be determined through AT&T. You will pay then.

    I just checked my order status online, and it was finally updated, as suggested I checked via my phone number, and an order does show up! (with a different order number...), strange, but maybe there's some hope that it goes through ok.

    There will be blood...this is going to get real ugly really quick. I found out this morning that my reserve didnt process even though It told me "congratulations on reserving your iphone, it will be available for you to pick up at your local apple store june 24th.". That really put a dent in my morning but I can only imagine how ticked those who got that email are right now... I hope they didnt pay for the phone only to recieve that email later... but then again, this IS ATT. Should we really expect anything less than incompetence on ATT's side?

    Well it looks like Ill be arriving to my local apple store incredibly early with my lawn chair, my thermos of coffee and a box of donuts. The people at the apple store did tell me that there will be two shipments for their iphones; one specifically for those who reserved and the other are iphones that are up for grabs for first come first served customers.
    You see that "Thanks!" button? It likes it when you click it!
