i lucked out too ! i ordered at 6:15am and was finished in no less than 10 mins ! i heard the At&t store in cherry hill is not crowded at all so better luck going there if you are in south jersey area.

Ok. I gave up on Apple and went to AT&T and successfully ordered a 32GB. $299 Shipped. They don't guarantee delivery on 24th, just say they will try based on first come first served.
Seems AT&T is making things easier on their own site

I just spent 2 hours waiting in line at an ATT store, after spending all morning trying to order online.
At this location, they are writing down your orders and will have someone manually enter them once the systems come back up. They said if you are lucky, it might be tonight sometime.
If you're thinking about going to a store, I wouldn't waste your time. They are crippled just like you would be at home. If I hadn't already invested the time in line today, I wouldn't have done the manual order but would have sat at home in my tighty whities.

The biggest release in 3 years and they can shore up there servers to handle the traffic? Im not even blaming Apple, this is another epic failure by AT&T! There are projections of more than 1 million phones being pre-ordered in the first week alone, so they knew what was coming and yet they still dropped the ball.

I tried to order a 32g 4g even though I wasn't up for a upgrade, log in and everything it showed me 499$ but when I tried complete the order it crashed on me. went back 30min. later and now it doesn't even offer me the 4G WTF. it only shows the 3g's now. that sux.

Same issues and errors others are seeing on both sites. Made it through all morning between 5AM and 7AM CDT. When I did get on this morning I found that if you are not elgible for an upgrade and are a current ATT customer, it will not process the order.Persistence Is Key
