Stop your complaining. Sprint is a very good network and Idk why people attack them. Sprint has crappy phones, not a crappy network.

Every single touchscreen I've ever used since owning an iPhone feels incredibly clunky, sluggish, and inaccurate.

ALL cell carriers bend you over and F*&K you the same way!! No matter who you are with, you are getting it fed to you however and whenever THEY like it. Luckily here in Canada we have more than one carrier to choose from when it comes to the iPhone. I have used all the major carriers in Canada at one point or other in my life (currently with Rogers for about 10 years now) and they are all the same. I have never noticed a big difference in quality and the customer service SUCKS at each and every one of them.

We are all consumers and unfortunately, we all get fed the same crap from each carrier, and if you want a cell phone, you have to grin and bear it.

Technically, HSPA is CDMA, infact GSM was still in the stone ages of TDMA till 3G came alone. HSPA is basically CDMA with GSM protocols, and without Qualcom Licensing. That is why is is also called WCDMA. They also made it to do simultaneous voice and Data. Somthing that CDMA2000 EVDV was going to do iy too, but since it took more hardware to upgrade the towers, EVDO became the standard that is CDMA2000 today. Sprint was originally going to go with EVDV...

The reason why the GSM providers in the States are still not 3G is rural areas where there isn't much population is because they basically have to run 2 different systems at each tower. One that is TDMA based, and the other that is CDMA based. Then once LTE comes into effect, they will have to add a 3rd type of technology.

CDMA is still being revised, just like HSPA. First there was 1xrtt that did 144k up and down. Then there was EVDO Rev 0 which was 3m Down max (Usually only got up to 1.5 in real world) with 144 K up. Then came Rev A, which has 3 Meg down, and 1.5 up (Real world is close to half that usually.) Then Rev B will increase the data throughput up to 73.5 Mbps in the forward link and 27 Mbps in the reverse link. Who knows what the real works performance of that will be...

And this folks, is why AT&T is doing away with the unlimited plan... They know you can't go anywhere til newyears so they are going to GOUGE us for the next seven months. But then Daniel-son, I will "wax-on...wax-off"!!!
