Default WiFi Sync finally hits iPhone...on Cydia
[ame=http://youtube.com/watch?v=u_09mqhMa-g]YouTube - Wi-Fi Sync for iPhone: Syncing music tracks with no USB cable[/ame]

It looks like the WiFi Sync app by Greg Hughes, which had previously been submitted to the App Store, has made it's way to Cydia. The app connects over a wifi network to a computer running the client app, and syncs your phone as if it were connected via USB, and is available on the BigBoss repo for $9.99.

While not officially supported, it does work on the iPad.

    Edit Poseidon:
For iPad Installation.. Purchase on your iPhone first. Next.. open Cydia on your iPad and choose ANY Cydia store package.. click purchase... choose whichever method you use to sign in (Google or Amazon). After you've signed in hit cancel.. then go to WiFiSync and it should now have an "Install" button at the top instead of a "recheck" button

Currently the client app is mac only, but a version of the software compatible with Windows will be available shortly.

I'm really enjoying this app. WiFi Sync + FileFile + LogMeIn Ignition = I never have to sit in front of my computer ever again! =D

That's what I thought at first, too. Then I realized that I spent about half of that on a burger and fries today.

$10... You know how much it would cost for a wireless usb cable? Probably upwards of $100. Everything on the iphone is actually really cheap. If i wanted need for speed shift, i'd have to pay an arm and a leg for the ps3(yeah, i dont have xbox- SUCK IT MICROSOFT!!!) versions- $60 it's $5 in the app store.

This is sooooo awesome! I've been waiting for this to show up in Cydia since I saw the announcement that he had developed it. I have a 3G that permanently can't be synced via USB because I damaged one of the resistors on the logic board and now I will finally be able to sync it again!

Found another cool feature, it allows you to use a USB filebrowser wirelessly!

Won't even let me install on my iPad... the package in Cydia says "requires and iPhone or iPod". How did y'all get it to install?
