whoo , that tread is turning into war,...
IMHO, both companies have their goals,
both want to earn a lot of money,
both are no monopolists,
both can develop/ sell what ever they want.
and NO one of us is realy caught by one of these companies.
WE ARE DECIDING , what we want and buy what we want.

Big kudos to Geschke and Warnock for the way they handled this situation, there is a lot to said for diplomacy, they know there is no point in going up against Goliath at this time, because they will probably loose, and burning bridges is not good for business in the future. Steve Jobs is bigger than life right now, and that is because of the tremendous success of his company, he is probably one of the most creative and out of the box thinkers in the business at this point, but if he continues on his current path, with his current arrogant Gestapo ways, unfortunately, some event will take place that will bring him back down to earth for a reality check, not that Iím wishing for this to happen, because I love the Apple innovations and products just as much as the next guy, but as history teaches, once you start believing that you are bigger than life, a reality check is inevitable.
Steve Jobs may be right about Flash being antiquated, but there is a right way and a wrong way to do things, you donít go about disrespecting your partners like that, and the heads of Adobe showed that they have class and they are bigger than Steve Jobs.

He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask a question remains foolish forever.
