Nawt gonna happen.
1- ATT does not have a 4g network..... at ALL. Jobs just renewed his exclusivity contract with ATT.
2- The 3g was designed with more ergonomics to get away from the brick 2g, they aren't going backwards.
3- Apple and MicroSD? L-A-W-L.
4- Fail vid is fail.

I'm on T-Mobile so a little worried about the micro sim. Outside of that i love the look, it seems a tad bit more solid, professional and industry standard. Hey its real to me until proven fake :-)

I love the case try put it in to make it look like a 3GS.

Hate the microsim though.

It definitely looks a lot more professional and less toy-like, now if only apple would upgrade the ui to reflect that...

I'm not digging the new iphone look. Hopefully the production version will look different.

Alright people, let's all take a deep breath here.
You "Believers" (as I will call you), have your hopes too high. Even if this is a prototype, it will not look the same. There was breifly a 3G Prototype on eBay before the 3GS was announced. It did not look the same as the final product AT ALL.
The specs are believable. However they are exactly as what has been rumoured for months now! Get a grip.
This is just an attempt to build hype so just calm the (beep) down and take a deep breath. Think to yourself. Does this thing look sleek and chic? No! And that photo's not apples style anymore! Get with it.

The iPhone, being as market flushed as it is now, is going to look more adult... and you guys have an issue with it?
Bring it Apple. Don't change a thing. Looks great.
I've always believed this was an actual prototype... I thought the case MIGHT have been provisional only because of the way it looks. Now that I've read what Gizmodo said about the casing, and then more details in the actual case it was found in... I like it. Bring it.
Fyi, I'm not a fanboy. Typing on my Non-OSX Vaio laptop right now.
My two cents: The iPhone is looking more adult, and I like it.@iosalliance

i'm leaning towards believing it... the only question is, why haven't they taken it apart to look at the CPU and RAM and such? Then we can really confirm if it's new or not...

Definitely real. It was running OS 4.0 and iTunes recognized it as an iPhone. Fakes and knock offs don't run an iPhone OS and can't sync with iTunes. Finally that fact that every single component is finely fitted into this case and had Apple branded chips in it... means this will be the final shape. I for one LOVE it as it's thinner than the 3GS.

The fact that it doesn't have that ridiculous chrome bezel that gets beat to hell and scratched up is the best thing about the new design!

I am confused. I have checked out Gizmodo, Engadget, and MMI. I believe on Engadget the pics they have showed the back can be removed and the new iPhone will have a removeable battery. Is that the new iPhone or was that the one that was said to be a iClone that had the removeable back and battery?
