I have both an original iPhone and a 3G. I am fortunate to have both, while others are not so lucky. My point still stands.

No one made them buy a phone that couldn't be jailbroken, there's always a choice

This is nice to hear. However I won't wait 2-3 months for a jailbreak. I was enjoying my jailbroken 3gs that I bought release day. It could be restored to 3.0 any tine I chose to. Then it just died on me. Had no choice but to get a replacement. Wouldn't you know 3.1.3. If the jailbreak isn't released soon it's so long iPhone. I've paid a lot for apps that I can't use now.
So it's good news that 4.0 can be jailbroken but release it for 3.1.3 already. I'm sure I'm not the only person that had to get a replacement.

I agree, I'm so tempted to make the switch to the nexus because I will not wait 2-3 months thats for sure.

Battery issues? What battery issues?

If you've got battery problems, then it can be fixed with 3.1.2 and todays jb's.

the only point of 3.1.3 was some 3gs users have problems with their battery level display being inacurate. thats what i meant.

Anyone who has a CarPC can control their iPhone through VNC. Just like having a CARiPhone... Now I wish they made an affordable 7" lcd with capacitive touch for my car...

thats cool in all but, i don't quite understand how they are jailbreaking 0S beta 4.0 when we still have ppl thats can't have there 3GS or 3rd Gen iPod Touch jailbroken on 3.1.3. Don't get me wrong I love the fact that they found the loop but one its on the old device, and more likely when the new device comes out its gonna have some type of code blocking that jailbreak......Not saying the they will not stop us from jailbreaking but will take a while..But as I said above, how about fixing or finding a solution to 3.1.3 to the ones that are unfortunate...

I wouldnt even attempt running a 4.0 beta, there usually very buggy and could cause u problems
