Darn. I saw the heading and thought it was teh Palm Pre >.< What a disappointment. Like I need to pay $50 to play Jawbreaker on my iPhone.

What are the legalities of actually selling an emulator like this? Are you left to find the palm OS yourself and the software you purchase simply allows you to use it or are you actually purchasing a package with Palm OS in it?

I once prayed to God for an iPhone, but quickly found out He didn't work that way...so I stole an iPhone and prayed for His forgiveness.

Exactly. I wouldn't. If I wanted to play SNES games, I would buy the SNES and the couple games I wanted to play. Emulators suck.
I do like the iClassic idea. Hell, I like it so much, I still have (and use daily) an iPod Classic and a Nano. The virtual click wheel just can't emulate a 160GB hard drive very well at all. Or the ease of controlling the iPod blindly in the case of the Nano while running.

I think the major question here is $50???????? WTF!?!?!?

no, the major question is who would want to use an OS that is at least 10 years old, when you've already got the iphone OS, which is the best from right now

It's not all about which is newer or better for these people obviously. Can't you tell that they love it(for some reason that I don't understand). But I'm not gonna knock anyones preferrences! So, with that said... It comes down to the money. It's not for me. Won't even try the free trial version. Point made.

Because mario world (Super mario world+ all stars which is the one I played I owned both but obviously played the + all stars one lol) has much better games than mario galaxy. Super Mario bros 1, 2, and 3 are so much better than mario galaxy its not even a competition but here's the catch iPhone OS is so much better than this palm crap there really isn't any reason for it. Its called a gimmick it scams people out of money by tricking them into paying for something that's not practical and will stop being used after a short time period.

I don't care to emulate anything, except a frigging 3gs locked to orange taking an 02 sim card

WHY??? A stupid waste of time, and only an idiot would pay $50.

$50? Wow. I'm sure there'll be people who like it, but I'll stick with my current iPhone OS, cheers.

I use an app on a Palm device to track my bowling performance and stats. The current iPhone apps aren't as good as the Palm app. And I have almost 1000 bowling games entered in the Palm app. Would prefer to use one device so this solution is interesting to me. Plus my current Palm device will quit working.

I still have my Palm T3 and it works great. I use it now and then for nostalgia, there are a few good apps on it. Would I check this out? Sure. Would I buy it for $50? Hell no. There are plenty of native apps that work just as well and look far better in 2010 than my 2000 Palm apps. $5, sure, $10 maybe.
But I still want to applaud the effort of the developers to make this even possible, and wish them the best of success. It is too bad Apple won't allow this sort of application in their store, I imagine there would be something of a market for it.
