Let's see. Only two zoom levels. Absolutely no javascript, broken css so half the pages load incorrectly. I mean, I was half-meaning the what I meant at the top of the page, but I think I might just skip this crap entirely and just deal with the extra second or two on Safari.
EDIT: retracted

Great that it was approved, it’s all about choice!
As for the browser, let’s see. On the plus side it's really really fast and it's an absolute godsend to have pages cached for instantaneous forward / back navigation. That’s probably the one thing that gets me most about Safari, it's just too slow and navigation is a chore. The downside are the zoom levels which really haven't been thought through properly; the algorithm just isn’t smart enough to properly zoom to the width of text like Safari. And why only two zoom levels? You can forget about any post-zoom adjustment and it almost feels like it’s a port from a non-touchscreen version. In addition a few pages don't display as intended due to the strict, though arguably "compliant", CSS interpreter. And there's no JS which can be an issue if you want to use it for more than news etc.
Still, there’s that sheer speed... it just goes hand in hand with an otherewise speedy 3GS. It's difficult to enjoy Safari now. Will have to try both browsers for a while, but I'll probably end up keeping it and hope they fix at least the zoom. JS will probably stay out due to Apple's SDK rules.
