I heard about this early this morning and called about it. I DON'T have 4G where I live and the monthly rate plan is $59.99 a month. That's a joke. I have Internet and Wifi at my house for $32 a month. I was only interested if it could possibly do what the AT&t Micro Cell (I think that's what its called) could do. Unfortunately that's not in my area yet as I have ZERO AT&T coverage at my home. By the way, the representative told me it was a 5GB monthly limit. Don't know about the 300MB limit, she never mentioned that and I specifically asked.

That can't be right. $60 for 300MB/month? Either you guys screwed up or sprint is out of their minds.

While I don't think this is worth it at all, this is to help clear up confusion:
Plan details:
Unlimited 4G usage. Download mammoth files, watch streaming videos and video conferencing without the lag. More coverage locations coming soon!3G coverage nationwide: 5GB/mo. in total or 300 MB/mo. while off-network roaming.

Here's what they said on their site:
This plan includes
* Unlimited 4G usage. Download mammoth files, watch streaming videos and video conferencing without the lag. More coverage locations coming soon!
* Peak download speeds of over 10 Mbps and average download speeds of 3-6 Mbps
* 3G coverage nationwide: 5GB/mo. in total or 300 MB/mo. while off-network roaming. Additional monthly usage over 5GB costs 5¢/MB. You may not use more than 300 MB/mo. while off-network roaming. You can check your usage online anytime.
* Sprint reserves the right to limit throughput speeds or amount of data transferred. See what you can do with 5GB or 300MB a month on a 3G connection plan.

With Verizon going for LTE I thought maybe the USA would join the rest of the world and actually have one standard.
Seems like Sprint are still persevering with WiMax so in future you will be able to have phones that work on AT&T/Verizon/Just about everywhere else in the world, you'll also be able to have a choice and buy one that works on Sprint....He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask a question remains foolish forever.
