The 3GS is more than capable of multitasking apps. I'm using Proswitcher and the battery life is roughly the same as when I didnt have it running. I run 4 to 6 apps at once and i'm not reaching for the charger every few hours. It lasts me the entire day, 7am-10pm. And yes I do a lot of browsing as well.
I dunno guys, you mean to tell me that Apple cant use Proswitcher as an example and make a multi tasking manager that doesnt suck up the juice that fast?? Gimme a break, of course they can. Apple just wants to sell products. Will the 4G have multi tasking? Probably. Will they add it to the 3GS? nope, cuz they want you to buy the new Iphone 3GS-A4 to the power 2... or whatever they are gonna call it.
Pisses me off to say this, but if they dont add multitasking and proper notifications... Im honestly gonna switch to Android because I would get more use out of it. Dont get all judgemental on me for saying that. I still love my iphone, but I need more.. I hate having to Jailbreak it when we all kno that it is capable of so much more.
Take it easy guys.

To those with battery woes, this is a godsend:
HDMI Cable, Home Theater Accessories, HDMI Products, Cables, Adapters, Video/Audio Switch, Networking, USB, Firewire, Printer Toner, and more!
Charges the phone from 10% to full almost 2 times in one charge. 12-15 hours of heavy heavy usage with brightness at near max? Oh yeah.

There is no "mysterious triple-tap" gesture. Go into Settings>General>Accessibility options and set "Triple-click Home" to "VoiceOver" to enable/disable with a triple-press of the Home key. When something it too long to fit on my screen, I triple-tap to enable VoiceOver and then touch the text and my phone, which will then read it all to me (why can't it just scroll in the first freakin' place?!). The feature is there and I'm on 3.1.2 non-beta.

I love the way people treat rumours as 'fact'....
He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask a question remains foolish forever.

I have the monoprice battery and it works great. I find it's more like 1.5 charges, but still it's a saviour for a long excursion without power cables.

I dunno guys, have a feeling we won't even get a glimpse of os 4.0 until early April.. Final
release prolly July. This isn't a rumour or fact! Just my thoughts on the way things are going.. This sucks.
