its so appstore apps that require 3.1.3 to download will download on 3.1.2

also it gets rid of itunes asking you if you want to update your 3.1.2 iphone

I downloaded the 3.1.3 fake as well. And as it states, it will keep your computer from asking to update to 3.1.3, and in some crazy scenario that someone else has your phone and hooks it up to a computer, it will not be prompted to update. In which results to the endless " I accidentally updated to 3.1.3, is there a jailbreak for this yet? And if not, can I downgrade?" questions. It's not really based as a spoof for your friends to be tricked... However, it's for your iTunes account to be tricked. And I think it's f***ing brilliant.

it really is. I love it. I jailbreak other peeps' idevices, and they always upgrade on accident. now this is a default first i put on their idevice.

wish we would have had the 3.1.3 type app long ago-I think its subliminal or something to upgrade when prompt plugging your iphone and changing out your media via itunes.
I think this app is brilliant. BTW u select 3.1.3 and reboot if your on 3.1.2 fw already. ALSO my about this iphone shows 3.1.3 and now it says 3.1.3 and says I am current software-AMAZING

Has anyone downloaded (and enjoyed) infiniboard? I Have it, but since my theme is ZX5... It doesn't quite seem right for this particular theme. Anybody use it and suggest it???

Infiniboard is amazing though it doesn't work well with certain iconoclasm layouts. But if you have the stock 4x4 icon layout then it works like a dream. Love the fact that its been actively updated since the day it was released. They've def. been working hard on making it perfect.

Thanks for the heads up regarding the infiniboard. I wish these forums were about help like this vs. People downgrading peoples thought, opinions, and grammar. I cant say that i havent had my own minor disputes in this forum, but it was only after strikes were thrown first. I hope I'm not the only one who feels as though this forum should be more helpful than combative.

Faking firmware has been around since the 1.x.x days you guys. If u look at cydia, there's an app called FW Changer by gojohnnyboi that's been around for ages that pretty much does the same thing. It has preset FWs and u can even change the FW serials, ie: 5D11 or 7E11, etc.

FWChanger does the same thing. Is there a difference between Firmware 3.1.3 App and FWChanger?

Sorry we weren't into the scene around then. Are we just plain f**king stupid cuz we didn't mess with this in 2008???? Did you NOT read my last post? Or is this forum for veterans only? I'm not trying to start anything. Confucious say.... Check the number of posts that users post before you assume they have been in the game almost 6,000 posts ago. Get it right bro. We understand this is your thing. Some of us are here to gain knowledge... Not criticism.

No one was having a go at you or trying to start anything - just pointing out that an app with the same functionality already exists.
No one expects new users to know this but the author of the app should have known this as should the staff writer who reported this and Cody - To report this as something 'new' is misleading. That is all the comments were meant to point out.
I apologise if you thought that I was in anyway having a go at you or anyone else. We all started somewhere and we are all still learning.

I appreciate the appology. There's really none needed. Just sometimes feels as though this forum becomes more of a "Know it all" VS. A "Help section". Which would be more beneficial. I hope that's understood.
