Is The iPhone Clinically Addictive?

I'm glad I'm not alone....I regularly fall asleep with my phone. And wake up in terror at 4am because I can't find it in the blankets.

My husband says I have a problem, but he wouldn't understand. You see, he's not allowed to touch my iphone

My wife calls my iPhone 3gs my mistress...I agree! Plus I like the fact that it does whatever I want and doesn't even talk back...lol

"My little friend"???? What the hells bells is wrong with these Stanford students?!? Sure I always like to have mine with me, but to nickname and refer to it...I find that extremely weird!

Yeah, it's a bit odd. I'm all for my iPhone and can't really use another device but i'm not that addicted to it. It stays on my bed at night because i use it as an alarm to wake up too and i've given it a name from iTunes and that's about it.

I must confess
I once fell a sleep with my girlfriend's iphone
I know, I should be a shame of my self.
But I couldn't help it, she's got the latest model.

Either that or she left some "pictures" on their and you couldn't let go.

I am so addicted I kept my first gen incase my 3G didn't work and kept my 3G incase my 3Gs didn't work... and have all three incase one breaks and then I don't have to go without one... crazy eh? lol

lol that's crazy but i almost did the same thing. Except i skipped the 3G and went straight for the 3GS. So, if next model is good enough i'll use that and have the 3GS as backup, but that only depends how the next model iPhone will be.

Lol! Very true! It's the last thing I see before I sleep, and the first thing I see when I wake up! It's so addictive, really!!!

I know I'm addicted....because there have been times that I leave my wallet at the gas pump register (which was laid down next to my phone) and take the phone. I call it "The Precious"......I feel like smeagol when it's not with me. I'd have to say that If i couldn't jailbreak it I would feel different...

Im not going to lie. Im addicted to my iphone. I sleep next to my iphone and I left the house with my phone and forgot to bring my wallet lol.

First thing I see when I wake up on the morning, is my iphone lol

I use the iphone Speck holder in landscape mode on the corner of my bed. I open up ipod and select the movie and fall asleep watching the movie. I think the iphone stops at the 20% low battery mark and goes to sleep while I am in deep sleep. By the time I wake up, its at 5% and then I put it on charge til it get to 65% then I am good for work.

Why not just charge it while watching your movie?

my iPhone died, and I got it replaced 2 weeks after that terrible day.

I assure you that those 2 weeks were the longest, most painful days of my life.

I was very addicted until I updated to the 3.1.3 and messed up my jailbreak...I've been so sad. I guess I'm mourning until I can find somebody to fix it :-(
