I tried to download and it said " not compatible with iPhone. Do younwant to turn on airplane mode". What's up with that?

question: other than having to share playlists and favorites what would stop me from me and my friend(s) creating one premium account?

While I haven't tried it, Grooveshark sounds incredibly similar to Lala, which I already use. Besides having an iPhone app available, is it much different?21.5" iMac 3.06 GHz Intel Core i3 l 15" MacBook Pro 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7 l 17" PowerBook 1.67 GHz

I'm loving this app. Have been frustrated with apps like Pandora where I just want to hear a song and end up with a playlist that never plays the song I search for.
This app is awesome thus far. Love it!

I haven't checked their site, but any practical word on audio quality? Info on bitrates? Differences on WiFi vs. 3G, etc?
I'm often disappointed with the quality of most streaming music apps/services I've encountered.

This looks great bargain price too...
Is there an offline mode for this on the iphone.. or can you only listen to live streaming..???
Just found the answer.. and you can!!!
Ok, so what are the drawbacks.. this looks too good to be true....???

My first experience, and criticisms...
On the surface... great!!!! bargain!!!
After a fe minutes of playing, my main and perhaps only gripe, is duplcation of tracks... I know people upload content, but would it not be best to have 1 complete album with a standard encoding bitrate/format.. rather than duplicated songs under an album.. needs a bit more organisaiton and grouping...
I tried to download the file after downloading for offline mode and the file won't play on my Mac. Too bad.
Hmm.. I can now see why this only costs a couple of dollars per month... Its VERY rough around the edges, missing tracks from albums, I have no idea what bitrates recording are, left my headphones at home, so havent even heard on iphone yet....
Dont really like the way there is loads of duplication, missing tracks album tracks.. so you could end up with a collection of tracks all encoded differently...
I suppose you get what you pay for really.. good idea though...

From the iPhone you can't simply listen to an album from start to finish.
The best option is to search a track and then listen to it with the 'radio' on, so it plays similar songs. Not much different to last.fm really in that aspect, except it can repeat songs.
You can't just choose an album and listen to it from start to finish.
It's good if you want to search and listen to each and every song, but I can't imagine anyone wants to do that?!
I can understand why it's $3 a month and I guess it's worth that, I am happy paying allot more for Spotify with the user experience it offers.
Ha, the best way to describe the music is a really unorganised iTunes collection

Pretty darn impressive. Hard to imagine spotify is $160/yr better than this service but when (or rather IF) it ever becomes available in the states i'll give it a consideration. for now $30'ish a year seems like a steal to have access to any music you want and the ability to cache music for offline (or just more instant) play.
Not sure if i really want to upload music but might be good to help it suggest even more playlists so for that reason i'll probably upload some music. I'd never used their site before and will likely seldom visit the site going forward but this new app is excellent.
