I agree tat their earlier design was much better looking but as they wanted to add dual analogue buttons then it wouldn't work with that old design so then they designed it like this but maybe they should have designed it to look like the old prototype but also adding only a little more space for the analogue buttons, they could have even made the older prototype a little wider and added the analogue buttons just under the directional keys and the buttons on the other side.
Just my thoughts.

I'll be getting one.

It's not something I'll keep around all the time, but will be great for extended gaming sessions while flying/taking a train, or whatever. Hopefully its released in a couple weeks so I can have it for a flight at the end of March

I hate the new design. You know, I would actually pay for the emulators if ZODTTD would re-work the directional pad on the left side of the screen to work like a virtual joystick much like in gameloft games.
The only reason why this is useful is because ZODTTD will not improve his emulators' controls.
This new monstrosity is massive! I am not going to lug that ugly thing around. The old design - yes. This would be sure fire buy for me if it provided additional battery life as well.
So when its all said and done, I WAS excited about this project... but given the new direction... they will not get my money unless an alternate unit is designed.

Right!! OK??.....I suppose it's realistic to expect one to be built that can accommodate all varying kinds of iPhone & iPod Touch device cases, is it?
It makes more sense to build it to fit the standard sizes of the devices as opposed to cases. Just my 2 cents worth
Oh sh..! I just made my 100th post! haha lol, I'm now a serious noob

3G vs 3G'S' is like comparing a standard BMW to an 'M-Tech' version of the same car. They pretty much look identical, but it's whole 'nother beast beneath the shell.
The 'S' is for 'Sheer' Power.

It may not be the belle of the ball, but it looks freakin responsive! I see that they have some sort of battery in it, I wonder what size? I like that much. This is being made specificially for Zodttds emus if I'm not mistaken, I doubt there would be any way to get this work for app store games.

I just wish someone would write something to connect my PS3 controller to my Iphone and I would be happy. They did it with the Wii remote so I would think it could be done with the PS3 controller. I like this iControlPad however.

there's no need for emulators anymore. games for the iphone have become a booming genre, just downloaded "abuse". best contra style game I've played in years.

Nice
I think this is going to be Icy. I like PSP's, DS's and others but if I can pull an emulator on the old idevice and use this thinging......breaking them out the box baby!!!!
But...I read a couple post earlier, how is folks using their Wii remote to play games? I need to know this.
Second, curious to how the makers of this icontrollerpad has expanded the emulator screen to fit the entire device and render so well.
NIICCCEEE!!

I'm assuming developers would have to program support in to their apps. So, by default, no SF4 wouldn't be supported unless Capcom decided to play nice with the jailbreak community (I assume they wouldn't).
