This will not work. Light therapy does work, but it will not come from an iPhone. The wavelength of light required for acne fighting is typically centered around 415nm(blue/UV). The way light therapy works is by using LED's which emit only that wavelength of light. The iPhone screen's pixels are a combination of red(630nm)/green(532nm)/blue(470nm), and simply adjusts the brightness of each color to give the appearance of a certain hue when viewed from a distance. It is the actual wavelength of light radiation that matters in light therapy, not what color it appears to be to your eyes. Basically, with this app, instead of getting the 415nm wavelength, you're getting 470nm(blue), 532nm(green), and 630nm(red) wavelengths of light, which when mixed together at the proper intensities will appear blue/violet-ish.

******** app, don't waste your time on it. Do some research on light therapy if you don't believe me. It's actually a very interesting medical topic that is currently being explored as a useful and side-effect-less treatment of different ailments.

Yeah..... I remember hearing about an AT&T tech who was one of the first testers of cell phone technology (20 years or so ago) who tried to heat his head up by using his cell phone frequently. It worked...... He got brain cancer in the shape and area he used the phone!

So... yah, I bet it does cure acne. Just got to live with those little annoying side-effects.

LOL, some people will buy anything. This reminds me of the mosquito repellant app. I tried it out for kicks. My backyard is loaded with them. Anyway if I held my iPhone within about 3 inches they flew away, but just placing it your pocket didn't work at all.

People will buy anything. Dam I should make a app that promises happiness or maybe better sleep. I can find a few doctors to "document" that the high frequency music the app emits relaxes people. Market a second app specially for babies as mommies can't spend on enough on their children.

BTW, whatever happened to just popping all the puss out??
