Shrink: Resize your Springboard Icons. There's An App for That.

One of my favorite things about themes for the iPhone and iPod touch, are the ones that make icon sizes much smaller. There is more screen real-estate, and things just look much nicer in a "nano" form. Unfortunately, if the icon had not been created for that theme, then it remains large and looks funny among the rest.
Today there is brand new app called Shrink. Using shrink you can set a specified percentage of how big you want the icons to be from their original sizes. Once you've chosen your size, simply respiring, and voila. Smaller icons! This app is also compatible with winterboard, iconoclasm, and infinidock.
Shrink is developed by phoenix3200, who has also brought us Music Controls, CalendarPro (Profiles), and Resupported. You can grab Shrink, and his other apps in the Cydia store now.
Shrink runs for $0.99.

If anyone has tried this, let me know what happened when you tried to get back to your original size. Totally messed my icons up. The icons were all mismatched and couldn't get them back to normal size and when applied a different theme was still messed up.

A word of caution: This app does not by itself give you the screenshot shown in the first post. You have to additionally install a five-column springboard. All it does is shrink the icons. It does shrink the calendar text as well, so that's good, but it will not shrink live clock and live weather in case you have those installed. Finally, it will also shrink the dock icons, which will destroy any seamless 5-icon dock themes. This thing really needs more work (set the number icon columns, enable/disable dock shrink, etc.)
Come visit AlohaSoft
Feel free to email me icon requests. Make sure to include a link to the application plus the app name EXACTLY as displayed on the iPhone. No PMs please.

OK, so I've paid for and downloaded 'Shrink'. Now what? I open Winterboard and it isn't there? There is also no icon... What am I doing wrong?

in addition this applies all the icons, not just the ones that aren't already themed smaller. e.g. i use matte nano and it shrinks not only the few icons i can't find in matte nano but all of them.

You can adjust the settings for this app by opening up "Settings" ... it's listed in your list of apps you can change the settings for ... there is no icon for this app.
I like this app but I do wish it had the options for us to adjust spacing within the downsizing ... it doesn't play well with the calendar or with the dock because you can't adjust the spacing for the sizing ... I still like it, though.
