Shrink: Resize your Springboard Icons. There's An App for That.

am I missing something?

just purchased this app and still dont see anything in my settings

This is a fresh install of 3.1.2, with nothing installed but app store apps, Cydia, Mobile Substrate, and Shrink

should I have something else?


(this is an iphone 3g running on wifi only connection, no SIM)


so far, ive tried:
-reboot, respring
-respring
-reboot
-reinstall of Shrink

It did the same thing to me, i thought i got ripped off. I installed infidock back and rebooted and for some reason it showed up. Fresh restore of 3.1.2, Im not sure what resolved it.

OK, so I've paid for and downloaded 'Shrink'. Now what? I open Winterboard and it isn't there? There is also no icon... What am I doing wrong?

If nobody has said it already, its in your settings.

We do need a six column springboard though. That would look really nice with 36 icons per page.

To all that are lost, just go to Settings and its there! You might have to scroll down a bit if you have a ton of apps (like me)

Installed but doesn't play well at all with the ilumine theme, in my opinion the best theme there is. The icon's are already smaller than 100% so badges show up above the icon as shrink thinks they are at 100%. No way to change this as of now. And on top of all of this I uninstalled shrink and the transparent dock corrupts with no way to change. So I think I might have to restore my phone to get it back to normal. Anyone know of a way to manually uninstall to make sure I delete all the shrink files? Thanks in advance.

After installing Shrink and restarting my springboard, my iPod Touch crashes and goes into safe mode. Is there a fix for this? Or am I just doing something wrong?

I am having the same problem. It didn't work at all with the Stack app so I uninstalled it and I got reverted back to the default apple dock(should have Glasklart dock).

I searched through my iPod via SSH so I can manually uninstall Shrink but I couldn't even find it.

Can someone help us get our custom themed docks back? The only way to get them back is to have Shrink installed but installing Shrink messes up the location of Stack.

Thanks, I will try and figure that out,I don't speak Spanish. Do i do it from iphone or PC, and drag into itunes? what do u sugest? thanks again.

Alright, I fixed my problem with the default dock showing up instead of the custom dock.

For anyone else having this problem with the dock:

Replace "SBDockBG.png" and "SBDockBG2.png" in the folder "/system/library/coreservices/springboard.app" with the custom dock image found in the custom theme you are using. Backup both of those images first before replacing them with your custom dock. This should let you have your custom dock back. The only problem I see if having to do this everytime you install a new theme, which isn't a huge deal

Why everytime I try to install it, it says "size mismatch" and then I have to restart the springboard? Am I doing something wrong?

I had the same issue with transparent dock after i uninstalled. So i installed again and i tried disabling the reflections on the dock icons before i unistalled again - this worked just fine.
