this seems to defeat the purpose of the dock, the dock is supposed to be the part that doesnt move so you can access those 4 5 or 6 apps easily on any page, but to make it scroll too why dont you just put the apps you want on a scrolling dock on your first page, doesnt make sense to me

If you want 2 springboards buy to iPhones

I'm assuming if/when I sync apps with iTunes it removes all but 4 from the dock? Or am I safe to sync?

You're safe all your icons will be in place after you sync with iTunes.

Every time I sync my icons move off the Infinidock and move to the Springboard. I have to keep moving them back. As well, every now and again the phone crashes on startup and I have to restart. After the restart the infinidock icons are again on the Springboard.

I have noticed that a springboard crash will make your icons go back to the springboard, not the dock. I think this is just something we need to live with. Hopefully your SB does not crash much

I suppose if you use iTunes to rearrange icons, it might do the same thing, because you are allowing Apple to do things "automagically". I never use the iTunes organize icons thing....but then again, I use Categories so I only have two pages on SB.kwickone I.T.H.

Oh boy.. I do a million things before ever posting anything. That way I'm learning more about how this iPhone works. Just got one the first time less than two months ago and I'm an overnight crash-course self-taught computer programmer.
Two weeks ago, I installed an app or a tweak, I don't remember what.. but it contained a five icon dock attribute, and an orange reflective dock switch added to the settings list. Since then, I've looked into ReflectiveDock and posted a couple of messages in search for a way to remove it, to no avail. RD is like a god forever sitting in my settings.
I went to look for ./Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries/ReflectiveDock.dylib file, but it's not there. Went into /User/Library/Preferences/com.apple.springboard.plist, and found SBUseOldDock set at /true, (first tried with iFile, it said hex error line 1), then used TextWrangler to change to /false, and then put it back in and rebooted. Still Reflective Dock in the Settings list, and it won't allow for my Infinidock to function. It still forces five icons into the dock, and that's too limited for me. I want four icons scrollable to different pages within the dock. I tried reinstalling RD and uninstalling through Rock.
Then, I read this thread and tried everything: even downloaded the Infinidock zip file with the cool osx icon, and see it in my settings.. however, there are fewer options in Infinidock settings: no option for snap and some other things that were there. Hmm, any ideas how to fix this, please?
