WWDC 2010 Scheduled for iPhone Anniversary Release?
Insiders supposedly "in the know" are buzzing about speculation that Apple's annual Worldwide Developer's Conference will take place this summer around the iPhone anniversary release date three years ago on June 29, 2007. The rumors began with the discovery of a suspiciously mysterious calendar booking at San Francisco's Moscone Center taking place in mid summer 2010.
You can take a look at the calendar yourself on the Moscone Center's website.
06/28/10 - 07/02/10
We've been hearing the same talk others have regarding WWDC 2010 providing the launch pad for Apple to reveal another update to the iPhone. If the dates match up, the next iPhone will be "born" on the third birthday of the uber-popular device. After all, Apple has introduced a new iPhone every summer since. Why wouldn't another be unveiled around WWDC?
Perhaps what could be even more interesting than the release of a new iPhone update or a big push for Mac OS X 10.7, is an announcement from Apple that the company will expand beyond its soon-to-expire exclusive deal with AT&T and herald a new partnership with Verizon. Indeed, there is no shortage of industry analysts speculating that Apple has finally realized that growing the iPhone consumer base requires expansion to another major carrier to take the device to the next level.
Since there remains enough speculation about if and when an Apple tablet will finally be unveiled, there's no need to talk about WWDC providing a platform for the possible introduction of the long awaited device. Such speculation, obviously, goes without saying.

Yeah, I hope they release a new iPhone, and with a easier to pay data plan. If apple doesn't like people unlocking them, they should make the data plan rates lower. I hope they also don't stick with the plastic backing, hopefully they go back to metaliPhone 4 16GB Jailbroken/Unlocked for T-Mobile USA with all the bells and whistles.
If I helped solve your problem, Press "Thanks!" for me ^^

If Apple's deal with AT&T falls through this could be great b/c in other parts of the world after you fulfill your contract Apple will factory unlock your phone upon request!

I don't live in the states so I could care less about AT&T or Verizon. Only thing I care about is the iPhone 4G (so called) to be a real UPDATED to the iPhone. 3G only added 3G capabilities and Bluetooth to the device. The 3GS only gave it "S" (speed). It's time for a real change/update to the iPhone. If that's the case this time, I will be definatly buying one on release and I'll wait for an jailbreak/unlock. I'm with you willie498! Hope they go back to the aluminum back casing instead of that cheap plastic.Don't live by other people's rules... Live by your OWN!!!
Why settle for less if you can have sooo much more!!!

ya, If apple does not do anything about the software such as, multitasking, use iphone in landscape mode, and let you customize it to your needs, better push notification than I am probably switching to an android. Although it wouldn't hurt to make it slimmer and the back aluminum.

Maybe then, people will release the jailbreak for itouch 3gs. OMG, I think they've found it, but are just trying to hide it so apple can't fix it on the next iPhone. (like redsn0w)
